More than 13.7 million acres of corn and soybeans in Iowa were in the path of Monday's derecho, according to estimates by Gro Intelligence. While that throws a wildcard into that state's yield projections, beneficial weather in Minnesota and Wisconsin has those states on a path to set new records.
December corn is up 4 3/4 cents, November soybeans are up 7 3/4 cents and September KC wheat is up 3 cents.
